GIVING: ONE OF THE SUREST WAYS TO GUARANTEE A  RETURN ON YOUR SPIRITUAL INVESTMENT.

Why giving to The Home Church is a good:

  • The Home Church, Inc. is committed to maintain trust and provide transparency.
  • After operational expenses, including facility expenses, utilities, marketing, and administrative costs, The Home Church Inc. expends the vast majority of its income on outreach and benevolence. We give to many noble causes including larger organizations with a greater reach and smaller ministries in need of financial help. Just this past year, THC gave more than all previous years combined! Therefore, when you give to The Home Church, Inc., you are helping to feed, clothe, and encourage people in the United States and around the world.
  • The Home Church strives to ensure that all fundraising efforts clearly state the purpose of the funds.
  • Contributions are used for those intended purposes.
  • The Home Church, Inc. protects the privacy of our donors by not marketing our mailing list.
  • There are numerous ways to give. While some donate through cash app at $THEHOMECHURCH, others prefer to make their money orders and checks payable to The Home Church. With no debt, more of your donation goes to ministry.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE:
Can I make non-cash donations? Yes. There are many  ways to contribution to The Home Church. Here are a few options:

  1.  Seeds of Service:    Here at The Home Church, people give both their treasure and their time. If you have the time and patience to tutor youth, feed the homeless, help with the lawn care, perform light maintenance or assist the cleaning crew, we call this a seed of service. Your service is welcomed. Contact the church and schedule a time to volunteer.
  2.   Stocks and mutual funds: Receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your stock or mutual fund at the time of donation. Also, pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value of your donation. Call your broker for details.
  3. Transportation donations: The Home Church's Car Ministry meets the transportation needs of those in dire need. Donate your used car and receive a tax deduction and you'll be helping someone in need receive reliable transportation. Just last month, we received a nice car. We had it fixed and gave it away. Help us help others.
  4. Computer donations: The Home Church's Computer lab accepts desktop or laptops that are no more than 5 years old. You can also donate tablets, keyboards, mouse, computer screens, and projectors. Anything that cannot be used by The Home Church Computer Lab will be donated to another organization that can use it.
  5. For other giving options including life insurance, retirement assets, bequests, charitable gift-fund donations, living trusts or estate planning donations, please contact The Home Church's  Director of Finance to set up an appointment.

According to IRS regulations, to receive donation credit for that year's tax purpose, contributions for each year must be received (or postmarked) by December 31 of that year. Please submit your contributions accordingly.
